Hi Kefilwe! Welcome back to Bloemfontein! Tell us more about yourself – Where are you from and what do you do?

Hi Masello! It’s great to be back. I was born and bred in Soweto, Johannesburg. I am an award winning digital media influencer, my specialty is in the luxury, travel and fashion industry. I am also an author of Kefilwe Mabote Influencer Deluxe: From Soweto to Milan. It is a book that equips people on how to conquer the digital space, the book also includes tips on how to become a successful digital marketing influencer. Lastly, I am also an entrepreneur predominantly in the digital space.

Tell us, Kefilwe, what is your favourite thing about Bloemfontein?

I love how laid back it is; it is something completely different from the buzz. The people here are so friendly, I love the level of professionalism that they have. I also love the fact they speak my home language which is Sesotho, it makes me feel at home. There is a lot of things in Bloemfontein that I like and feel are underestimated, which brings me back here all the time.

So Kefilwe where will you be taking us today?

Today, I will be taking you to one of the nice places in Bloemfontein which is Protea Hotel Willow Lake. We will be having my favorite dish which is the succulent lamb, mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. There’s something about mashed potatoes that makes you feel at home.
